Is your hair flat and scalp oily when you wake up in the morning?
No time for a shower?
Fear not for I am going to introduce you an essential beauty product of mine;
Dry Shampoo!
Dry shampoos are created to help keep the scalp oil free and fresh. Additionally, providing the hair a light wispy finish. In weathers like Singapore, no doubt would your scalp feel oily from all that sweating! And of course with excess grease, it will weigh the hair down making your mane droopy and lifeless.
Personally, I have a slightly oily scalp so I give my mane a little pick-me-up in the morning before I head to school. All you have to do is to spray different sections on your hair (normally, I only spray at the sections where it's prone to get oily in the later part of the day) and you're good to go!
Easy peasy, right? /nobigdeal
I will be sharing with you my Top 3 dry shampoo brands that are pretty effective for me!
#3 Batiste Dry Shampoo
For a 200ml aerosol spray can at SGD$12.90, Batiste is the cheapest amongst the 3! If you feel skeptical about this product yet you want to give it a try, worry not for Batiste has a travel pack one at only SGD$3.90 each! With a range of 8 different cans, you can find it at any Watsons outlet.
Currently, I am on my second can of Batiste and I must admit for $12.90, this product is really worth it. My first can lasted for about 2 months and I used it at least 5 days a week! The only down side of this product is that if you spray it too close to your scalp, a powdery residue will appear. And, when you run your fingers through your hair, it feels powdery.
However, I give this product 3.5/5 stars!
#2 Marc Anthony 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo
MA's 2nd day dry shampoo was my FIRST dry shampoo that I've ever used. At $24, I was pretty much in a huge dilemma whether to purchase it for I'm not sure if it works and its quite expensive. But by the end of that week, I was glad I did buy it because it really gave my hair a clean and crisp feel! Best part, NO POWDERY RESIDUE so no one will assume that I have major dandruff issue.
I give this a 4/5 stars!
#3 Percy&Reed No-fuss fabulousness Dry Shampoo
Standing at 150ml for a whooping SGD$25.90, this is the most expensive out of the lot. Despite the price, this slick can produces a perfume like fragrance that smells absolutely heavenly!! Best yet, this comes in a travel pack at $12.90 each. This can be found at any Sephora outlets.
Even though the scent on this dry shampoo last much longer than the other 2, the aerosol spray can spoilt within 2 applications. Not only was it a waste of my money, my purchase for this product went down trashcan as well. But I have to admit that for those 2 applications, my hair felt really fresh and feathery.
I rate is a 2.0/5 stars!
I hope that this review is useful to you and that you have gain a "cheat" tip for your hair.
