So what is inner beauty ?
Do the modern ones really bother about inner beauty ?
What are your reaction and first thought when you see an extremely fat girl ?
Living in the world where people judge you by first impression and your appearance.
But when le wild hot lady appears
No doubt everybody will think she is hot , sexy and beautiful.
the meaning of inner beauty hence lost it's value in the cruel society.
This is the short write up about Ms Melissa Sarah Wee on how she overcome her low self esteem as an overweight lady to now a confident and aesthetic women.
This is Melissa during her teenage year

Being fat in her teenage life, she was bought up in an all girls' school. There was a significant amount of stress upon her shoulders as her environment was very competitive. Being overweight and in an Asian society where everyone is slim and petite. She was often discriminated. It was a "sin" to be overweight in her school. Melissa was often hurt by the teacher of Trim & Fit (TAF) as she was joked and put down by the teacher in front of all the students. Throughout the years, she was mocked by everybody and her self esteem crumble bit by bit. Most days she felt disgusted by herself and hate what she saw in the mirror. She was on the verge of giving up.

She then became bulimic in her later teen years, eating then purging her food, to the point where she had to be hospitalized for a week. Eating disorder became extreme. It's not just a physical thing but more of a psychological and emotional mind f**k. It's a mental illness where nobody wakes up saying "I want to have an eating disorder"
After the incident, her mum signed up gym membership for her. she always had short attention span but however she preserved and hang on to fitness as she aim for a flat tummy. With much discipline on her diet and training three times a week, she managed to achieve what she wanted from the start.

She smiling with her abs shining.
Everyday is a challenge, confident wasn't built in a day, neither were her fitness.
"Failure isn't falling. Failure is not getting up and trying again. As long as i keep my eyes on Jesus, I know that I will be okay. " - Melissa Sarah Wee
Things may get really tough along the way, but never throw in the towel ! Instead, use it for wiping the sweat off your face as you know every passing second is another chance to turn things around. To be great, sacrifices needed to be made. Sweat, tears, blood, pain, dedication, determination and discipline are the key to strive toward success. What doesn't bring you down, makes you stronger.

The Melissa now is a confident and strong women. She is beautiful and even more beautiful in her inner self. She preserved and did not gave up on herself despite her sad past.
From Melissa, I learnt that we should not judge the book by it's cover. the external matters, but the inner beauty matter most.
