Selflessness

Selflessness is indeed one of the aspects of inner beauty, and there is one man I would like to share with you guys about. He is Mr Andy, manager of Siglap Basketball Club, his achievements and his selflessness allowed many basketball players in the club to have privileges that other basketball clubs in Singapore do not have yet.

This is the man I am talking about, he is Mr Andy, owner and manager of Siglap Basketball Club, Singapore.

Siglap Basketball Club was established by his father in 1955, and has been around till now.

This is all because of his selflessness and his promise to his father. His father told him to continue this basketball club after he was gone, so as to be filial, he managed this basketball club up till now.

Mr Andy could have spent his money on other more important matters, to name a few, family, company, instead of raising this basketball club.







Siglap Basketball Club currently has of 5 teams, Men's U18, U23 and Opens, Women's U18 and Opens, and we do take part in local basketball tournaments.

As I have mentioned before, he made many basketball players in the club have many privileges that many other basketball clubs do not have yet. You may wonder why I say so, now I'm going to elaborate more on it.

He sponsored the basketball teams to go overseas to compete in tournaments, this allowed the players to have maximum exposure of basketball games as they got to play with players from other countries. This allowed players to have both national and international experience, this is what most club players do not have yet.

Without Mr Andy's selflessness, generosity, there will not be Siglap Basketball Club, the players would not have so much exposure and fun. He is truly a man with a great heart.
